Google Announces Financial Support to Google Ad Manager Publishers

The effects of corona-virus have affected millions of publishers worldwide. The consequences of a reduced and weakened programmatic ecosystem has caused media houses to both reduce expenses and their workforce.
To assist publishers weather the storm during this challenging period, Google has announced that it will be eliminating platform fees for the next five months for select publishers using Google Ad Manager to support their continued viability.
Jason Washing, Google’s Managing Director of Global News Partnerships, said, “We’ve decided to waive ad serving fees for news publishers globally on Ad Manager for five months.”
“Over the coming days, we’ll notify our news partners that meet the requirements about the details of the program, and what they can expect to see in their account statements.”
